In psychology - 'small moments that spark joy or peace, which can help cue our nervous system to feel safe or calm'

The second in the Glimmers series, this E.P was primarily composed in one day.

At the rapturous crescendo of a very challenging period of becoming I turned to making music as my place of total solace.

At the time I could not make conversation, or hold much focus on thought or concept. The only thing that seemed to make sense was to sit in the musical sphere and create.

Three of these pieces were made back to back over half a day (and with a little help from a delicious coconut, cocoa and coffee beverage).

After the music was finished, I spent a lot of time sitting in that space and wrapping myself up in the world I'd built. It's cosy, warm and soft. For that day, and many moments since, the music has provided a space of safety and slow relaxing respite.

May it provide you with such a space too.
